Canyon Country Burning on Such a Windy Day

My Canyon Country home was on the market for one week. Last week. We watched the fires burn from our back window on the day that our first and only potential buyers came by. I had cleaned the pool the day before. The pool, the great reminder of a house we've raised a two kids in, borrowed money from, and now can't sell with enough profit left for a moving van.
But enough of my woes. I'm angry at Glenn Beck right now.
I know my neighborhood. It voted heavily for Bush in 04. I'm surrounded by NRA stickered pickups. I have been physically assaulted by Bush voters four times in the last 6 years. Once, I was on Judge Joe Brown when a Bush loving woman tried to run me over, and then sued me for "damage" to her hood, where I had crawled to eliminate the threat (I won, and got to recite some of the bumper stickers that pissed her off).
So, I don't know the exact split on the vote, but the odds are better that the burned homes in "in a place called Canyon Country" (Countdown Report, MSNBC news) belong to Bush voters, Glenn.
It never occurred to me who's house was burning, just like on 9-11 it didn't occur to me that our executive branch would go all KGB on our asses.
I wonder where that "center" is, Glenn?
It never occurred to me because I sat there watching the smell-o-vision (the smell of smoke is getting old to me) hoping that the next chopper I heard on my surround sound wasn't also going over my house. It never occurred to me because I would never try to extract some Karmic equation from something as unpredictable as fire in high winds and low humidity.
Is it gooey in there in the center, Glenn?
