Economy Loses Jobs (or how I stopped worrying and learned to trust John Edwards' populism).

Of course they do screw with these numbers too, but even their statistical shenanigans couldn't hide the losses in the housing sector.
The real news behind trickle down economics, of course, is that it's just another one of their Orwellian scams, calling something the opposite of what it is.
I used to say that the only thing that trickles down from rich people is grief. Well, it was more colorful than that. But that was the idea. Job losses today are just the tip of the iceberg. As Bondad's continued excellent work today proves, Republicans are just plain idiots with money. They do the worst thing possible. They give less money to the people who spend it.
Wow. Breaking news.
So, after today's sobering news, John Edwards' populism is going to look fine to a whole lot of people. A lot of people who know the truth behind Bush's magical economy, where you drain the US treasury to make the Military Industrial Complex richer, while cutting the taxes of those who profit from the war, those who literally fuel the mechanics of death.
I'm sickened. I look around for someone besides Kucinich and Dodd (and Gravel) who actually say what I'm thinking, and the closest thing I can find right now is John Edwards.
So, I'm going to try to stop worrying now. If you want to buy a nice house near LA, let me know.
